Article Processing Charges (APC)
In accordance with the directive issued by the Deputy for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, the Article Processing Charges (APC) for Persian and English manuscripts authored by Iranian researchers, effective from 21 March 2025 through the end of the current calendar year, are structured as follows:
Payment Structure for Iranian Authors:
• 50% of the APC (10,000,000 Rial) is payable after the completion of the peer-review process and prior to the issuance of the final acceptance letter and copyright transfer agreement.
• The remaining 50% (10,000,000 Rial) is payable after the manuscript has been prepared for publication and prior to its official online release.
Upon receiving the initial acceptance notification, authors are required to email a scanned copy of the payment receipt for the initial 10,000,000 Rial fee, along with the manuscript reference code, to: food86@gmail.com.
Note: No fees are collected during the initial screening stage or before and during the peer-review process.
Article Processing Charges for Non-Iranian Authors:
Non-Iranian authors are required to pay a flat fee of 150 USD following the initial screening by the editorial office. This comprehensive fee covers initial evaluation, full peer review (both initial and final rounds), copyediting, and online publication. No additional charges will be applied.
Important Notes:
• All applicable taxes and bank transfer fees must be borne by the author.
• No discounts, waivers, or exemptions are available for any individual or institution.
• In the event that a manuscript is not accepted for publication, 50% of the paid fee will be refunded to the author.
• The payment of the APC has absolutely no influence on the peer-review process or the final editorial decision.
