Dear authors, from now on, the Iranian Journal of Food Science and Technology will also accept review articles that meet the following conditions:
Authors should cite literature solely on the basis of its relevance, quality and contribution to the manuscript. Authors are not required to cite articles from this journal. Editors and reviewers must not request citations for the purpose of increasing citations to the journal, themselves or associated individuals. Any citation request must be supported by a clear scholarly justification.
Review articles are evaluated according to methodological rigor, comprehensiveness, critical analysis, originality, relevance and the authors’ demonstrated expertise in the subject. Editorial consideration is not determined by academic title, institutional position, nationality or seniority.
